Red as the cardinal’s courageous call,
Orange like the oriole’s sunrise sprawl,
Yellow goldfinch in summer’s bright cheer,
Green as a hummingbird zipping near.
Blue as the bluebird, calm skies in flight,
Purple martins shimmer in dusky light.

Though cloaked in colors, bold and bright,
Each heart beats with a common light.
Wings may differ, hues may glow,
But all birds sing the songs they know.

Together they soar, a feathered parade,
A rainbow of unity gently displayed.
