At this week’s yoga classes, we’ll focus on “Authentic Expression.” Join me as we explore mindful movement, breath work, and sound practices.

We’ll tap into the energy of the throat chakra to release blockages and encourage clear, heartfelt communication. Let this practice be a journey of self-discovery, where you honor your inner voice and allow your true essence to shine.

The throat chakra, or Vishuddha, is the energy center at the base of the throat that governs communication and self-expression. When balanced, it allows you to articulate your thoughts and feelings with clarity and kindness. Speaking your truth with compassion ensures that your words connect and uplift, creating trust. When this chakra is blocked, some ways it could manifest are an inability to speak up or talking excessively without true expression. As energy flows from the heart to the throat, it elevates into higher consciousness, allowing you to communicate your inner truths with care.

Fun Facts

According to the National Institute of Mental Health, 75% of people fear public speaking more than death. This fear is also known as glossophobia.
