Meet your Host
Deb Lanning the owner of Wander with Direction
Hi there! I am inspired life enthusiast and passionate about creating unique experiences that generate opportunities for people to enjoy life, and explore both themselves, and our beautiful world.
I’m a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, Certified in Sound Healing, and BFA Artist. I love to create inspiring, theme-rich yoga classes, encourage people slow down with a sound bath, and help them enjoy and develop creative skills like watercolor painting.
Lastly, I’m thrilled to be hosting the Retreat to Fall. This special gathering is designed to enjoy and embrace color.

SUGGESTED READINGThe Secret Lives of ColorFeed your curiosity with this delightful dive into the history of color. The Secret Lives of Color shares the quirky, surprising, and often untold stories behind seventy-five unique shades, dyes, and hues. As a color-obsessed artist, I found it endlessly fascinating—uncovering how colors have influenced culture, language, trends, and the way we see the world. This isn’t required reading, but it’s a fantastic conversation starter—especially when gathering with new friends. Plus, it’s the perfect book to simply flip open to any page and discover the story of a single color in just a few minutes.
