The 2026 Yoga Season Begins in May!

Join Lake Ann Community Yoga! The space is held by yoga teacher Deb Lanning. Neighbors come together to practice hatha yoga in a relaxed, supportive setting that emphasizes steady movement, breath awareness, and mindful presence. All levels are welcome.

  • When: View the Schedule
  • Where: Almira Township Hall in downtown Lake Ann, MI
  • Who: For Adults Only, all yoga levels
  • Class types: Vin/Yin Yoga, Sound Baths
  • Props: Mats, Blocks and Blankets provided. (Feel free to bring your own)
  • Cost: Recommended Minimum Donation of $10

All Levels Welcome

Vin/Yin Hatha Yoga
Experience the perfect balance of movement and stillness with Vin/Yin Yoga. This class begins with an energetic Vinyasa flow to warm the body, build strength, and encourage fluidity in movement. The second half transitions into longer-held Yin postures, allowing for deep stretching and release. This mindful blend of active and passive practice helps cultivate flexibility, relaxation, and inner balance. Suitable for all levels, this class is ideal for those seeking both rejuvenation and restoration.

My Body Always Feels so Much Better

I recently move to the area and was thrilled to see yoga being offered at the town hall right here in Lake Ann village. Deb has been so warm & welcoming from day one. I have enjoyed her mix of yoga themes, flow & poses during the fall yoga season. She also sprinkles in interesting facts regarding the human body, specific to the parts we are focusing one during class. My body always feels so much better walking out of her class than when I arrived. Deb has created an environment that is comfortable and meets people where they are on their own yoga journey.

Warm and Welcoming

I was completely new to yoga in July. Deb is warm and welcoming of all who attend her classes. She reminds us to listen to your body and its needs as everyone is different. She offers modifications to increase a movement for more advanced yoga participants. She also answers questions and offers suggestions for those just learning. Deb’s classes are casual and enjoyable. I have never felt uncomfortable. Now, after four months, I look forward to Deb’s classes every week and well as seeing and catching up with friends I have met at class. It is a very caring and fun atmosphere. I encourage anyone who is considering adding an activity to increase their flexibility, balance and sense of community to attend one of Deb’s classes. You will be thankful you did!
