Watercolor Postcards: Northern Michigan Chronicles is a collection of plein air paintings that captures the color-soaked beauty of Northern Michigan, one brushstroke at a time. I enjoy wandering to beaches, woods, scenic vistas, and hidden backroads. I set up my mobile studio, which consists of a beach chair, a pie tin of paints, a few small boards that I tape my watercolor paper to, and, of course, my brushes, on location to create postcard-sized watercolor snapshots of the landscapes I love. Each piece tells a story of place, season, and moment, offering a glimpse into the natural wonders and quiet magic of life Up North.
