Watercolor Postcards: Northern Michigan Chronicles is a collection of plein air paintings that captures the color soaked beauty Northern Michigan, one brushstroke at a time. I enjoy wandering to beaches, woods, scenic vistas and hidden backroads, I set up my mobile studio, which consists of a beach chair, a pie tin of paints, a few small boards that tape my watercolor paper to, and of course my brushes, on location to create postcard-sized watercolor snapshots of the landscapes I love. Each piece tells a story of place, season, and moment, offering a glimpse into the natural wonders and quiet magic of life Up North.
