The Empire Bluffs Trail is one of the mainland trails located within Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. It only takes about 20 minutes to reach the lookout point. The hike is about 1.5-miles on an in-and-out trail, where you can see incredible views of Lake Michigan and South Manitou Island! To reach the trailhead, the trail parking lot is located on Wilco Road, 1.3 miles south of Empire off M22.
